22 year old Alex Staniforth has overcome anxiety, depression, low self-confidence, eating disorders, bullying, epilepsy and stammering to raise over £85,000 for charity. This year he was shortlisted from thousands of people in the Pride of Britain ITV regional Fundraiser of the Year category after winning the Granada region award.

When 11-year-old Cody Hartley read about the sudden and tragic death of 12-year-old Oliver King who suffered a sudden cardiac arrest during a swimming race she was determined to help raise awareness of the importance of defibrillators in schools.

Best friends Conor Hawkins (24) and Dominique Grace (22) are teaming up to kick-off a year of fundraising this Friday by shaving their heads for the Ehlers-Danlos Support UK charity!

Tegan Williams is fifteen and has a passion for raising money for ‘poorly people’ despite battling with her own health conditions. When she was just 4 years old she had open-heart surgery to treat her pulmonary stenosis, atrioventricular and ventricular septal defects and fallots tetralogy.
